Is one allowed to dye their hair when it grows in or put a rinse in it? Somebody please let me know.

I did. My hair came back in very dark... it had always been blonde... so as soon as I was ready to shed the wig... (and boy was it still short) I had it dyed. Now about a year later, it is finally getting close to coming back to a normal color. I first had it colored.. but now I just put in highlights.

My hair came in very dark also. Everyone said they liked it but I had it colored and now get highlights every few months. It has been a little over a year since I stopped wearing my wig (December 05)

My hair came in all salt and pepper. I was thinking to put a rinse in it tonight because i have an interview tomorrow, it's still short, but thank goodness no more wig. I had heard you shouldn't dye it till you cut it 3 times, that would take at least a year! So thanks for the feedback, appreciate it!

My oncologist told me I could dye my hair without any problem. But I got to wondering why so many hair stylists have breast cancer and I decided to wait. I don't like the gray, but I just don't know...

I understand what you're saying. Maybe I'll just do a rinse that washes out. I'm just not happy so gray! LOL
