Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let you know I had a call from my Dr with CT Scan results, and then yesterday recieved my copy in the mail.
He said there is a new mass in pelvic area and that the lymphocele was a little bigger. Asked if I wanted to have it drained, I said not at this time.
The good news is the CT Scan also shows everything else stayed pretty much unchanged. So a little good and a little bad. A new growth but under 3cm and the rest unchanged. Hopefully the Etoposide well shrink it back or stop it in its tracks. :-) I keep visioning it as warriors being sent in to slay the cancer.
In fact after the journal posting, where I spoke of the warrior vision, Monika sent me the following in an email. Hope you don't mind me sharing it Monika. I also put it on caringbridge. :-)
This is what she said ... "I've put on my breastplate, and taken up my sword with you to do battle. We will walk and not be weary. We will run and not faint. I visualize legions of armies ahnialating the enemy with the Great Physican at the forefront, leading the way. The enemy shrinks and disappears at the sight of The Great One, unable to remain in His presence."
She saw what I was saying and elaborated on it, how uplifting. :-) Thanks Monika!
So to all the Warriors here, put on your armor and we shall continue to fight this battle together. Through the tough times and the easier times. We shall continue to stand strong together and one day we shall see the battle won. Prayers N Hugs Bonnie
Psalm 121:7-8 The Lord will keep you from every kind of harm. He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your life no matter where you go, both now and forever.

Hi Bonnie. It sounds like you got a pretty good report! I'm so thankful. It reminds me of a web-site about ovarian cancer where the doctors talked about treating ovarian cancer as a chronic disease. That wouldn't be too bad if they could come up with a drug that didn't cause you to go bald, right? Anyway, I've been wondering how your chemo is going? Side-effects? I think you are doing great! I like comparing the chemo to warriors too! I have always looked at the chemo as a positive thing....I do think it helps it work better. I'm sending you lots of hugs and love, MM aka Keelie0

Bonnie:
Thinking often of you today. It's terribly arctic here - hope you are keeping warm.
No problem that you shared my e-mail. The bigger the army, the better!!
Love and hugs,
Monika
P.S. So glad the other areas have at least remained the same. Is it painful to have the lymphocele drained?0 -
Bonnie I am so glad everything else is unchanged, I always love to read that!
I pray the Etoposide shrinks the growth and we will give God the glory! When will you have another cat scan?
I loved Monika's post that was awesome!
Love and Hugs to you Bonnie,Jan
P.S. How's your family?0
