Apologies if this message has been posted twice. It didn't seem to work the first time.
Just got back home from the day hospital after my 1st colonoscopy and received best news. I am dancing over the moon. Not a sign of a polyp or anything else suspicious, only haemorroids (can't spell this word) which may require injections/banding if bleeding worsens. Bloating/constipation will be treated with lactulose and even more fibre in my diet.
Thank you all so very much for your messages of calm, caring and encouragement. It has meant so much to me and I'm sure had an impact on my outcome as well as my outlook.
The welcome mat is down at my house if you make a trip to Melbourne, Australia.
Hope you don't mind if I visit sometimes to check out how well you are all doing.
You will always be in my heart, in my thoughts and prayers.
Love
Hilary
