My Daughter

I, unfortuately, have had another loss.
Sunday last, I received a call from my mom (I was still in Holland), to say that my younger daughter (she was in a mental health facility) died unexpectedly. We are having an autopsy done, etc, to rule out medical malpractice. So, another angel is "walking with God". In a way, this was a good thing, because she had been not responding well to any medication used to attempt to stablize her, and was sleeping most of the time from the side effects. She was 22 on December 12.

So, I don't think I will be celebrating the holidays of late 2006/early 2007. My effective family has been cut in half, with the additional death of my daughters' dad before Christmas. But, I am doing the steps necessary, and will keep as good an attitude as I can, realizing that all things happen according to plan.

    I am sooo sorry for your loss and agree that God has received another angel. He needed her for something special. I will say a pray for you and your family for guidance and strength to get you through these times of grief.

    I am deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter. I agree that there is a "Master Plan" but it seldom seems to make sense to everyone left behind. Know that your extend "family" here will work hard at helping increase your "family members" with our love and support.

    Words cannot express my shock and sorrow at your loss. I know that you know the cliche that she's in a better place all too well, but you're right, She does walk with God.

    If you need anything at all, daughter, please let me know.

    Losing a child and having it happen unexpectedly has to be the most devasting loss of any. Please know that you and your family will be in my heart and prayers.

    Kathi, I can't imagine how you must free right now. We are all here for you. I hope you can feel the support and love being sent to you from board. God bless you.
