High grade vaginal dysplasia

Hello, I am new here. I had a second biopsy done last tuesday, I got my results back today: I still have mild/low grade dysplasia on my cervix, but now my vaginal biopsy came back as moderate/high grade dysplasia! I will have to get treatment for this. My doctor said either a laser treatment or a cream treatment (Aldera). I'm very nervous about all of this. Will this lead to cancer of my vagina? Are there alternative treatments? If someone out there has experience with this, would you please offer some advise and guidance. Thank you so much!

many are doing well with aldara against displasia, I am using it for rectal displasia, however cancer has gone into my lymph node, aldara can only penetrate 1cm into skin, . What are you doing now?

    stage 3 dysplasia
I had Laser Vaporization in July for stage 3 vaginal in situ. The discharge did not stop had a biopsy came back positive. I am going back to Moffit next week. I have a great doctor. I will probably have another session of the LV. I am 53 and I had cervical cancer in 2000. Had the works, One nod was positive so I had chmo and radiation. The radiation was internal also. Looking back I wish I would have refused the internal radiation as I believe the external and chemo were enough.

I have not had the cream but I will be sure to bring it up to my doctor. The results sound promising. Thanks for the info. Will keep you informed.
