Best wishes for a smooth recovery. You must be doing great if you are already online. Enjoy your holidays with your family, heal a bit every day and next year you can deal with the next steps.
Take care (and take it one step at a time)

I am very glad to hear that your surgery was a success and your recovery time was so much better. I am sure being surrounded by family and loved ones really helped.
I am so sorry to hear about the additional mets. I didn't really unerstand from your post if they were able to get the new met with this surgery or if they found some more while they were in there. Whatever the case, know that you and your family are in my prayers.
Have a wonderful holiday season, Tara.

Hi Tara,
I'm glad you are recovering nicely but sorry about the mets. Take the time to enjoy your family, recouperate, and build up your strength to start fighting the beast.
Have a Happy Holiday with all your family around.

I only had a solitary lung met, and they were able to get it all out with this surgery. (It was officially a biopsy, but they got good margins just in case). But my understanding is that I will be having more chemo now because presumably there are more of those little guys out there somewhere.0
