Vaginal melanoma

Hi cheech!
My stepsister was daignosed with cancer of the vulva of the neuroendocrine type which is very rare and no treatment protocols. She will be finishing her 4th cycle of chemo next week. She continues to be strong.
Go into the NIH web site and check to see studies etc on Melanomas. This falls ( I think) into skin cancer category. What makes it rare for you is the site. Is this your primary site??
Be strong,

Cheech, Please read my entries under Vulvar cancer. I had my diagnosis in Oct 2004. After surgery, I refused radiation. I took a non-toxic alternative treatment called Protocel also know as Cantron, or Cancell. I learned about it in a book called Out Smart Your Cancer. It has no been 2 years and 2 months since my surgery, and I am cancer free. I have heard from half a dozen women on this site that underwent radiaiton to that part of their bodies, and they had serious complications. Please be sure to ask your doctor about all the side effects that could happen from radiation. As I learned from the American Cancer Society, it could damage your urethea, rectom, colon, and lower intestines. That is why I choose the Protocel 50 formula, and I am cancer free. Externally my vaginal area looks normal, and I have had no reoccuring cancer.
Good Luck to You
