Naturopath Dr. Tomorrow

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a WONDRFUL Thanksgiving. Well, tomorrow I am taking my mom(& dad) to see a naturopath Dr. I am very excited to see what he has to say. My mom is already juicing, and eating a live/whole food diet,(NOT ON THANKSGIVING-BUT EVERYTHING WAS ORGANIC. I DID ALL THE COOKING-YIKES!!!) and taking some vitamins. I just wonder if there is more specific things we should be doing for CRC??? Any ideas of questions I should ask him??

My mom is on her 5th cycle of Xeloda-she is one week into it right now. Her hands and feet look much better this go around. Thanks to SB and all the others for their helpful hints-we have been using the MK product and it seems to be working!!

Also, my mom will be having a CT scan on Friday, December 1st to see what the tumor on her adrenal gland is doing. The tumor measures 4.6 X 3.7 cm, and her onc has assured me that it will show up with a CT scan versus a PET scan. We will get the resutls of the CT scan on Monday, December 4th-which is my mom's birthday! Wouldn't that be wonderful news to find out we are dancing with NED on her birthday? I can not think of a more wonderful present. We have been FLIRTING with NED since the last PET scan, but I want my mom to be dancing with NED!!! Please keep her in your prayers for these results. I know these scans make her very nervous.

    Such great news and I must say you are one heck of a close family. Good for you!!

    We are right there with you and your Mom and looking forward to a dance with NED! He is awesome.

    i will be praying for your mom valerie, god answers prayers all the time, and i cant think of a better time to get an answered prayer then on your birthday. bieleve it will happen and it will. god bless you and your parents. please let me know when the dr. says there is NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE. hugs lynn

    I know you are there-I feel you every day walking with us!! I can never tell you how much I appreciate all that you have done for my mom. You are so awesome and my family is blessed to have you in our lives. I will let you know how things go!

    Thank you. I have been blessed with a wonderful family. We are very close. And now I have this GREAT extended family here. I am so happy that I found this network. I will keep you all posted.

    Dear Lynn,
    Thank you for your prayers!! I have my mom on my church prayer list, and friends have her on all of theirs. I know God answers prayers and He has answered many of ours. My mom had a really, really, really hard summer-but she is doing much better now-prayer answered!! I do believe my mom will be NED soon, and I will let you know. You are in my prayers!

    You are following the same path (although with much more energy!) that I did to arrive at NED. A combo of traditional treatment, nutrition changes, some supplemental treatments, a whole lot of support, both human and spiritual, and attitude!

    Here's to dancing with our favorite guy...NED!!!

    Hi Kathi,
    Yep, that is the path we are taking-took us awhile to get there, but with the help of all of you, we are on that path. It feels RIGHT!!! I don't know about the "much more energy." Sometimes I am bone tired and overwhelmed, but then I just look at my mom and know that we MUST keep going!! I am heading out tomorrow to go to their house again, and here in Colorado we are expecting a big snow storm. I better get to bed so I can be on my toes tomorrow!! I will keep you posted!
