Hi Denise,
A naturopath might be able to help alleviate symptoms.
I also sometimes go to this site on early menopause for information :
http://www.earlymenopause.com/index.htm
and their discussion board :

There is a discussion area for natural alternatives to HRT. There are many breast cancer survivors who cannot do HRT so they have to do the natural alternative.
I personally don't have symptoms from menopause. I am in early menopause at 35 from chemo. My gynocologist wants me to do HRT. I tried it but then got scared because I thought I had breast changes (which can happen but isn't necessarily bad for you). I also had some other things that gave me concern about it...so I haven't started on it, much to the dismay of my gyno. I don't have symptoms of menopause so it would just be to prevent bone loss and for heart and other general health.
I'm going to have to think about it more soon because it's been over a year now of being in meopause. It was nice to take a break though from being finished with chemo and everything and starting in on HRT.
Oh, by the way, have you had a bone scan? I'm not sure your age. But it was recomended to get a baseline on done if you are in early menopause.
Best Wishes,

Estoven is a natural menopausal relief product. No side effects and most drug stores and even grocery stores have it now. You can also visit your local health food store and get many choices with support from the staff.
Your medical doctors do not know about natural remedies, their speciality is "medical practice" which has become "pharmaceutical practice" in the last 20 or so years.
Hope this helps,

Black cohosh helped a friend of mine...I agree with others...seek a naturopath.
Also, with the Dexa (bone density) scan. I was osteopenic (pre-osteoporosis) before chemo, after I was osteoportic....I am only 51 years young...sigh...BUT I am on Actonel now, and Tamoxifen for the post-breast cancer treatment.
Hugs, Kathi0
