There is not a cancer that someone has not beaten. What does your oncologist say. There are many drugs that can be used to fight cancer. Tarceva and Avastin are two that have been used alone and combined with chemo. I was given Carboplatin, Taxol and Tarceva all at the same time. I had stage IV lung cancer. I had many nodules. The doctor said it looked like someone had taken a paint brush and flicked it all over my right lung. The only treatment that they could give me was chemo. I am now cancer free. My story is posted here just put ernrol in the search widow at the top then click on ernrol at the right. If I can answer any questions let me know.
Stay positive,

Ernrol is absolutely right. I was diagnosed with "inoperable/incurable" non small cell lung cancer, stage 3a. I just celebrated five years out from surgery, and I'm cancer free. Stay positive, that's very important. You beat it the first time, and you will win again. Best wishes and prayers to you.0

From my dad's experience , we are on the right track I hope. We are going to do a 30 sessions of Radio next month after more than 5 months of Chemo ( 8 sessions).
dont hesitate to contact us for Any exta info0 -
Hi Herkey,
Yes, as Plymouthean said, you beat cancer once. There's no reason you can't again.
To add to Ernrol's comments, Avastin has recently been approved for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer and squamous cell. Before the FDA approved Avastin for colon or colectoral cancer. Genentech has provided the FDA with proven studies that have shown Avastin increased the survival longer than just chemo alone. But Avastin has side effects that must be discussed with your doctor, as with all other treatments.
I've never heard of clarke zapper.
Your children definitely need you. I hope you have a good support system to help you with chores and taking care of yourself. Much luck and my best wishes to you!!0 -
For information on the Clarke Zapper, go to http://www.drclark.net/en/drclark_protocol/cancer/promise.php I'm not a doctor, scientist, or anything close, but personally, I finished reading the Dr. Clarke website with tongue in cheek. In one paragraph, it states that Dr. Clarke (PhD, not MD) no longer treats all cancer patients. She treats only terminal patients, because "the others can do it themselves out of the book". Who knows when, where, and in what form a possible cure will come? But ....do it themselves out of the book???kaitek said:Hi Herkey,
