Mark hasn't been on chemo for four weeks now but I've never seen him so tired. The littlest amount of activity leaves him exhausted. I thought the chemo would wear him out but he is much more tired now. I hope this has nothing to do with the cancer...

Hey there! Well, I do not know for sure, but the last round of chemo could still be in his system. Maybe his liver is trying to process everything and is having a hard time. Ya know, chemo is cummulative...How is his nutrition? I don't have any 'real' answers for you, but I would have some blood-work done and look at his liver enzyme/counts. If they are way up, it could be part of your answer. BUT, please bring your concerns to his doc. You are doing such a good job advocating for him. You are a such a GREAT friend. All the best to both of you - Maura...If he is off chemo for now, he can juice and detox his liver with great nutrition/supplements/loads of water (and super juicing concoctions) and all of it would make him feel better (just a thought for you and him).0

Hi,
I want to also agree. It may be just a cummulative thing but tell your onc. He might need some blood tests. I'm not sure I mentioned before but I was enemic so had to take shots. The enemia made me tired too. Also juice and fruits always seemed to pick me up and make me feel better. Maybe also he needs some "real" protein in his diet. Is he eating chicken, eggs, fish? HUGS and tell us what the doc says.
