FAQ' S
Requirements to enter Canada from the USA
For now, if you are an American citizen crossing the border into Canada, you need ID that proves two things: 1) Citizenship, and 2) Identity by way of a photo.
A driver's license on its own or a Social Security Card on its own are not valid ID to cross the Canadian border.
The following pieces of identification will serve as satisfactory proof of American citizenship to enter Canada.
Please note, however, that photocopies of ID are not acceptable, only originals:
* US passport
OR
* Birth certificate,
OR
* Certificate of citizenship or naturalization,
AND
* Photo ID, such as current driver's license
Clothing
Casual ~ fall sweaters, sneakers (walking tour) wind breaker (the tall ship).
Money
It would be best to convert some US dollars to Canadian funds before you leave home.
All plans subject to change if you decide you would like to do something else. Lot's of time time to eat drink and gamble, gamble, gamble . . . .
Cheers ,
Lisa & Andy

I hope you all have a wonderful time - it looks like a great time at a great time of year - just wasn't in the cards for me right now. Maybe next time. Have fun. I would love to meet you all some time.

Wish I was going! Raise one for all of us "poor" semi-colons that can't join you! Don't forget.... Pictures, Pictures and more Pictures.

Hi Lisa> I am so sad we are not joining you in my most favorite place on earth (Halifax Nova Scotia)...I do so hope that we can meet at Colonpalooza # 6 Fall 2007 in Niagara Falls.
To everyone who is going to Halifax..you will have a fantastic time and will remember always the East Coast hospitality...and if you are in the downtown core be sure to eat at my favorite restaurant "Sweet Basil"
Have fun.

Hey 'sista!
I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to get to Halifax! It has been a year since I hung out with you all, and that is WAY TOO LONG!
I can't help but crack up when I see how the time for brunch gets pushed back with each day of the Palooza....appears we all have a reputation for burning the midnight (or 3am!) oil!
This trip will be extra special for a few reasons:
(1) Celebrating my 5 yr (you all did hear about that didn't ya? ((wink))...) anniversary with my dearest friends who know more about me than most everybody!
and (2) giving jerseysue and kerry warm greetings and tons of support with their journeys.
A lot of you may not realize this, but many of us e-mail each other and call each other outside of this site. We really are family...no, I take that back....we're BETTER than family~~~no grudges, no rivalry, no bitterness! So maybe just because we don't see a post from somebody, we still are aware of their battles, and sometimes that is hard to talk about. Regardless, WE ARE HERE FOR NEVERENDING SUPPORT!
And another thing....there is always room for more family members, no matter where they are on this journey~
Love you all,
Stacy0
