Taxol
I just recently completed my 4 doses of A & C and I tell you they were very rough. I have chemo every two weeks. I am to start with my 4 doses of Taxol. Can anyone tell me how Taxol was for them? Was it easier or harder then A & C? I am a bit stressed since I was very sick the last 4 doses. Thanks for your help!

For me taxol at the beginning was a real relief. I don't think I could have done another A/C treatment. However, toward the end it got hard. The major problem with Taxol for me was my hands and feet hurt. But it feels so great when you stop the Chemo... and you are over 1/2 way there. So keep you chin up and know that it sure isn't as bad as doing 4 more A/C's. And in 12 weeks you will be finished... then you will just have to work at regaining your strength.
Take Care... God Bless...

Hang in there. You can do it. I had the same treatment. With the taxol I found I was just really tired 3rd and 4th day and had some stomach trouble, but it was easier than the A & C. One day at a time, hang in there. We're sending positive vibes and lots of ((((HUGS))))

Hi!
I went through A/C and I know what you are talking about!! I have gone thorough taxol/carbo and it was so much easier on me than A/C. I did have Fatigue, neuropathy and some mouth sores towards then end of my treatments (6 months of treatments every Monday,3 wks on on 1 wk off).. but it was tolerable and cleared when my treatments were over. Just take good care of yourself!! Nice warm baths.. candles!! You will be in my prayers!!0 -
