Thanks Patrusha and Lisa. I appreciate the good wishes. My hubby told me this morning that he's tired of hurting all the time. (One of those down days.) I'll give him a hug when I see him at lunch!lfondots63 said:Hi!

Happy about your results. The prep sucks so much more than the test, doesn't it?

The prep is AWFUL. I'll bet if we could line up all the GI doctors and force this stuff down their throats one among them would come up with something more tolerable!Betsydoglover said:Pepper -

Happy to hear that your scope result was good. I have another subject I wish to discuss with you. As the caregiver for your husband with colorectal, it sounds like you must work outside the home? If this is the case, how to you keep up with everything? My husband was dx'd with colorectal on April 6, had chemo/rads and finally surgery on August 1. They put in a colostomy and just sewed him back up as not curable. I have not taken these news well at all and am having a terrible time to just function. I can't stand to leave him so I can work, I just feel like this is the best it's ever going to be so I want to spend all my time with him. My employer is being wonderful to me but I know it can't continue as it is indefinitely. I've considered taking early retirement so I can be with him all the time, but I hate to do that. When I lose him, I will have to work - I could not take just staying at home and "thinking". What difficulties are you dealing with and any suggestions how I can get a grip and handle our situation more effectively to be a better caregiver for him. I know when my emotions are on a roller-coaster, I'm unable to be at my best to care for him. This was long, but I appreciate it if you can give some ideas. Thank you.pepperdog said:Thanks Patrusha and Lisa. I appreciate the good wishes. My hubby told me this morning that he's tired of hurting all the time. (One of those down days.)
