Please don't let it be 3!
Called and saw my gentle, dear primary care doc today. Bless him, he sat and listened to it all, including my clumsy attempt at humor when I said 'Well, its just canceritis I guess....'. He said "Well, we need to check it out, so let's get approval for an MRI...would that make you feel better?"
This man saved my life with fast action on my rectal cancer...I am trusting him with it again...if you have an extra thought, could you send it up for me just being overreacting?
Thank you....I am also looking for a local person to help me with the emotions...I HATE that the beast STILL has a hold on me!!!!
Hugs, Kathi

Oh Kathi,
This beast of a disease does grab ahold of our emotions as well as our bodies.
You are so fortunate to have a doc who is a reactionary rather than a "well, let's just wait and see" kind of doc. Unfortunately, I've had too many of the latter.
You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

I feel a little like I graduated High School, set free to plot a new course on my own, but then got a call from the school that I am short a credit, and have to go back for summer school...sigh....

Oh Kathi......bless your heart. I pray this is just a little 'nothing' symptom with an easy explanation. Maybe it's meds???? Or hormones???? With us ladies, who knows? However, if the beast is prowling again, he sure knows who to pick on, 'cause I know what a tuff cookie you are. You'll just put on your boxing gloves and come out fighting.
Okay guys, let's all get in a circle, hold hands and think good thoughts and prayers for our special friend, KathiM. She needs to know we are all there with her in mind and spirit.
Good for you in looking for some local support...hang in there and BE STRONG!

Dear Kathi,
Bless your heart. I can't believe that you are having to go through the stress of waiting and wondering. I hope your appointment will be soon so we can all breathe a sign of relief that all is well.
It sounds like you have a wonderful and caring oncologist. Just remember you are not alone.
Love,

I'm glad you have such a wonderful doctor. I'm one of those people that just wants to know as soon as possible what is going on. I hate the "wait and see" approach. Not good for my peace of mind. When is the MRI? As always, you are in my prayers.

I am hoping and praying that you are being a total hypochondriac (or your words, canceritis) and your symptoms mount up to nothing.
Ok, let's rationalize. You have been scanned recently and had the wonderful NED. Let's hope that you are still NED. If you aren't NED, surely the beast hasn't had much time to grow and will be very easy to fix and cure and NED will be back in your life again. You would think that the beast would begin to realize who he is messing with and know that you'll just kick it's arse back down again.
In any case, my thoughts and prayers are with you and I look forward to hearing "it's nothing" from you.

Oh Kathi!
I wish we were all there to give you a big personal hug. Think of us all holding your hand and praying for you. Like others said, any weird symptoms we normally think the worst. Here is hoping that it is just something "normal" and not the beast.

Sounds like side effects of a very mild migraine or a very intense and nasty sinus infection...........
I just don't feel it is related to the beast.....you are too ornery for him to be able to get at you again!!!!!!!!
Just in case, I will keep you close to my heart and prayers until you get the good news.

Hey Kathi,I am pretty new to this site, but I allways love all of your posts, you are so strong and optimistic I am sure everything is going to be fine for you. Right now I am visualizing you in the doctors office receiving the results from the MRI and I can see a beautiful smile in your face meaning, you know what, YOU ARE NED. All my prayers are with you,and all my positive thoughts. Lots of hugs,Betina0
