Yes, she does crochet. Thanks for the tip. I'll pass it along.jamilou said:It is so good that she wants to stay active! Does she crochet? My elderly neighbor crochets hats for preemies at our hospital. She is on oxygen and not able to get around but she can crochet and it is great therapy for her. Good luck and Blessings to you both!

What a wonderful thing that your Mom wants to help others. You could check out ovarian cancer support groups in your Mom's area - sometimes there's a need for survivors to talk to newly diagnosed women by phone who either can't or don't want to come in in person.
Best of luck to your Mom.

Thanks! Unfortunately Mom's health is rapidly declining. She can barely talk above a whisper and is no longer able to crochet. I fear she doesn't have much longer. But thanks again for the kudos.pshnyc said:What a wonderful thing that your Mom wants to help others. Hi Cheryl, I am so sorry to hear this about your Mom. Mine is 90 and in the end stage of ovarian cancer. She also has macular degeneration so she can't see very well to do much of anything. I can empathize with you so well. About all she is able to do now is help me plan the meals or make grocery lists. I also tell her that she has gotten good at bossing me around! She often says she is not good for much anymore. I tell her as long as she can still give me a hug or a kiss that is why she is still here. I send you a hug and my very best thoughts.
