So, this weekend I was feeling so good that I did some moderate yard work...pruned my fruit trees, stuff like that.
Lower half of my 'special' breast turned pink, arm pit swelled...sigh...off to the onc today to make sure it's just 'canceritis'.
She evaluated it, said that the breast really looks pretty good in general, all things considered, and that I should just be careful.
NUTS! I WANT to ramp up my exercise....but the meeting of the beast has left me so that I need to be cautious! DARN that BEAST!!!!!
Hugs, Kathi

My oncs said that if it doesn't get better with self-massage, that is EXACTLY what she will do....I am sooooo lucky to have found this gal...she is head and shoulders above my last one....although, my last one DID stuff that made me able to be here...sigh...LesleyH said:Oh, Sweetie. Do be careful. You scared the bejeezus out of me. There are phsyiotherapists that specialize in strengthening that arm. I've been trying to get a referral to one.
Hugs.

Hope you are feeling better. I admit there has been more than once that I have over done things and paid for it. But patience... is just no fun.... I have found that a Chiropractor who give me massages has been real helpful in reducing the pain and stiffness in my surgical shoulder and arm.
Take Care.
