Greetings all!!!!

It's that "special time" again! That time to bang you on the head with the details to COLON PALOOZA 4!!!!!!

WHAT: COLON PALOOZA 4

WHEN: OCTOBER 12-15, 2006

WHERE: HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA

WHY: WHY NOT?!?!?!

As you all know, or are quickly learning, we are a close-knit bunch. We all understand each other (well, with the exception of Kanga who speaks a foreign language and SpongeBob who wears leather! tee hee) and support each other. We have developed and maintained solid friendships through this horrible disease and that is priceless.

So, call the Delta Halifax Hotel and book your room under the group name "g colon" (group colon). It should run you around $ 120/night American dollars, and is well worth it! We'll be taking tours, hitting pubs and sight seeing during the most beautiful time of year in Halifax, autumn.

And, just for the record.....by attending a Palooza, you are automatically entitled to an opinion regarding where the next Paloozas are held. Armchair quarterbacks do not get a vote! lol

These events are held twice a year in hopes that folks can make one or the other based on financial, employment, health or family obligations. (Just for the record, scouty and Lisa Rose are the ONLY two who have attended the 3 that have already been held in Mississippi (February 2005), Las Vegas (October, 2005), Austin (April 2006).

So jump in for fun, laughter and encouragement!

    My reservation has been made!! I'll be there unless something unforseen in the health department comes up. I should be shed of my chemo by then. Fingers crossed!!

    Come see what you are missing folks, they really are absolutely amazing kinship experiences.

    Yes, I am booked also and like Kerry will go until I can not longer physically and/or financially be able to attend.

    We have not picked our Spring 2007 destination yet but it has to be warm, so we all can thaw out and not worry about the neuropathy. You get a vote when you join in on the wonderful camraderie and fun. You will not regret it.

    I would love to attend my first COLON PALOOZA, but alas, on that date I will be attending my nephew's wedding on Marco Island in Florida. Sniff. Maybe the next go-around!

    $1 tips!! Don't I WISH!! I spent more money there than I did at all the casinos I went to the entire weekend!! Of course I hade a bit more fun there than I did losing MY shirt at blackjack...

    (some people are wondering wht the @#$$ we're talking about...)

    I am SO bummed. I had reservations made, but had to cancel them because I got sucked into a State Department delegation going to Mazatlan to talk fisheries. Halifax ROCKS!

    Bob, it's a tough life you have dear, jetting here and there. Not exactly hardship duty!! Ha!
    We'll miss you.

    I wish I could come to Washington DC. Health issues have prevented my participation this year - a conflict between the CT scanner, chemo and MD Anderson. Guess I must choose health first. I'm so bummed about that!
