MichaelaMarie, how are you?
I hope you are not feeling too poorly. I've been thinking about you and hope you have a chance this weekend to drop us all a quick note to let us know how you are.
My best to you!

Hello Monika. Well, I will be leaving here in about 20 minutes for my appointment. I have lab at 1:45, see the doctor at 2:00, and hopefully get to do the chemo, although I think I will. I've just been so stressed that I called the office this morning to ask if I was still scheduled for chemo, and the desk said yes. Of course, the amount will depend on my blood count that they will do at 1:45. I'm so hoping for good news today, I've been so depressed for weeks now. Anyway, thanks so much for thinking of me, and I will try to write again tonight to let you know about today's appointment. Love to all of you, MM P.S. Remember, I'm on Pacific Time0

Good news today, Monika! My CA-125 dropped 26 points, and is now sitting at 45! The doctor was very pleased. Also, he went ahead with the Carboplatin, which I was so happy about. They did give me a bag of Benadryl first though, and kept a close eye on me. And, I didn't have any reaction, thank goodness! Also, he mentioned that he is considering giving me an extra two treatments instead of stopping at 6 as he did two years ago. At the time they stopped then, my CA-125 was 18. So, I think I am happy about the prospect of the extra two. I'm sure it will be extra hard on my body, but I would rather do it this way than have to start another series all over again in just six months! What's your thoughts? I'm so happy for you....imagine a number 7!!!!! I had my mammogram about a month ago, and was very relieved that it was clear. Sure glad you are feeling a little better....Take good care, MM0

What goods news this morning! I was so glad to hear. If your doctor suggests the extra treaments, I suppose I would consider them too, even though it's so, so difficult.MichaelaMarie said:Good news today, Monika!
