Last Chemo Today!

Hi All:
Today is the first day to the rest of my life. This afternoon I will have my last chemo!!!
A big celebration has been planned. A few of my cycling friends and I will be on an end-of-chemo ride this Sunday to celebrate life and living.
I rewarded myself with a new bike - a carbon fiber Trek Madone in red, white and blue, the USPS team color. In fact it's the same bike that Lance and team rode in the Tour in 2004 and 2005. I am so thrilled!
I was in tears watching Floyd Landis powering his way up the Alps today, on a injured hip. I think he embodies the spirit of all of us who have faced unforseen adversity and still plow forward.
I'll post some pictures of my post-chemo ride next week!
Cheers,
Ying

Hi Ying!
I am so thrilled for you!! Let the healing begin!
I'm especially envious of your new bike purchase! I wish you many happy hours of riding.
(I as six weeks post chemo and I feel so strong.) Keep us posted with your progress.
I also was excited to see Floyd Landis power his way up the mountains.
Congratulations!!!

Great news, Ying, and we will have to continue the celebration when you come to Boston! I finished chemo 2 years ago on July 9; we celebrated by going away for the weekend to a great outdoor acoustic music festival. I was sooooo emotional at times; so much to be thankful for! Keep feeling stronger and enjoy each day of the rest of your life!
Looking forward to meeting you! Judy0 -
