Hiya 'ol mate. Have not heard about that but here is a little info on other research. A recent documentary here in oz tells of work being done on a specific type of snail. Now don't laugh guys 'cos apparently at this time tests have been done on mice and the present results are ecouraging. All mice tests have shown that cancer in mice has been "totally" killed off. Wow...now it remains for human testing and as we all know this can take years but nonetheless it is a step inthe right direction. The laboratory testing to my knowledge is being done at Flinders University here in Adelaide. Flinders is a highly regarded cancer treatment and research centre in oz.KathiM said:That said, you have inspired me, my dear...looking at all sorts of hits on google....thank you!

Just thought I would remark about these tests here for you. I am trying to seek out more info on the snails.
We hope you are well dear friend.

I've been thinking about consulting with a homeopathic/natural meds doctor to supplement my traditional approach so this really peaks my interest...KathiM said:That said, you have inspired me, my dear...looking at all sorts of hits on google....thank you!

Kathi, please let us know if you discover anything more in your investigation of Nanuk's inquiry. I didn't get many hits on Google, just one, the doctor's website where he distributes expensive supplements. He advertises a 6 month clinical trial where he claims some pretty incredible results with cancer treatment. This trial is of course at a cost to the patient, but suspiciously with a money back guarantee (there's got to be a worm hole with this one). I'm curious Nanuk, where you heard of Dr. Peterson? Maybe I'm a cynic, but I'm a bit leery of fantastic claims of anything on the internet, especially something as important as cancer treatments. I'm near Mission Viejo so if anyone is truly interested I could easily check out his operation and let you know. Send me an e-mail if you're interested.
In spite of the circumstances, nice to meet you Nanuk. I checked out your Personal Page and liked your comment about "Enjoy Every Sandwich." For me music has been a huge relief and serves well to derail my thinking about cancer, and this is one of the records I've been spinning. It's a great collection of songs from one of the greatest American songwriters, who lost his own battle with this dreadful illness - his music has plenty of humor, good fun, commentary about life and of course emotion. It always makes me laugh and cry.
Thanks for an intersting post Nanuk...my thoughts and prayers are with you.0 -
Hi Bud,
Goood to see a post from you; how are you doing these days?
I received an e-mail about this "clinical trial" at this site back in May from a "Kara", and it was also sent to a few hundred others whose e-mail address began with a "j". I responded to what was clearly a solicitation in violation of the rules at this site, and when I complained about this to "Kara" I was told that I was evil for wanting to deny cancer victims a chance at survival!
They did, however, respond to my request for additional information. I received an e-mail from Dr. Pederson, requesting that I send him a check for $690 to cover some of the costs of this natural remedy, with the "guarantee" that half of that money would be refunded if I was less than fully satisfied. Upon reciept of my check, he would contact me for further information! The "clinical trial" seems to be open to anyone who pays the fee; he didn't even make any initial inquiries about my type of cancer, etc.
I did pass on the info to Jose, as it is in clear violation of the rules of this site. Buyer beware? Judy0 -
Judiths...thanks for your post. All I can say is sad, very sad. However, this is a fine example of how important this site is to a community of survivors.jsabol said:Hi Bud,

Like Judith, I also received email from this "guy". (I think the "B"'s were also included in this email solicitation.)jsabol said:Hi Bud,

It sounded very bogus to me (and clearly was). I think I reported this one to Jose, although I might be wrong since I have received a few similar things and this one might have slipped thru the cracks!
Take care (and be suspicious!
