Relapse of NHL

I was recently rediagnosed with a relapse of NHL, only need Rituxan this time thank God. My question is has anyone encountered not being able to have an aromatherapy massage? I went for one last week and the lady said she could not do one since massages stimulate the lymphatic system and she did not want to spread the cancer!!! I am going for my first treatment on Friday and plan to ask my doctor, but just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this. Thanks

I am sure by now if you have gotten an answer to this, however, in 1996 when I last had NHL, I had many massages and was never concerned about this. Many people use massage as an alternative treatment during cancer therapy.0
