Seeking Good Wishes

Hi all -

I have my next PET / CT this coming Thursday, and even though my last one was NED and just at the end of April, for some reason I am more nervous than ever about this one. The results will be what they will be and I am sure I won't get them until after the 4th, but I'd like to take as many good vibes as I can into that scanner.

    While you are in that scanner . and you have your hands above your head , Picture in one hand all of us holding it and in the other well that is a special one .that one is for the Good Lord above .
    Take CARE and know that we are all Praying and sending all of our good vibes your way .

    I have not forgotten about your scan. I told you I have it on my Palm and I am praying for you. I am going to pray for peace for you now. As you know, we all go through this. It is the anxious moment before the storm. I am so sorry you have to wait so long for the results. I wish they would speed it up for you. Any way, we all are with you.

    Here's to a good scan!

    Everytime I am in the machine, I say over-and-over, "God, please take this cancer away from me." So far, it seems to have worked.

    Like Debra said, picture all of us holding your hand while in the scanner. We will all be with there wishing you continued NED. Woop it up on July 4 because we all think everything will be fine. HUGS.

    I will keep you in my prayers.
    I think one of the toughest parts for me (as a caregiver) is the waiting.
    I will send you lots of peace to help you wait for the NED results I'm sure you'll get!

    I am getting nervous just reading about scans and I just got an NED back last week. Yea!! I will keep all of you in my prayers. Let us know what you find out. jams

    My husband just had his 6 month colonoscopy. We are nervous everytime. You will be in my prayers tonight.

    Hi Betsy, I know exactly how you feel. My dad just had his 2 year follow up scan (that i just found out was NED, thank God) and I spent the past couple of days in agony. It truly is horrible waiting for results. I will keep you in my prayers. I am sure everying will be fine. Keep us posted.

    Bob -

    NIH kicked me out - too healthy - so I am now back to my regular oncologist - scan is in Bethesda, though - but NIH not involved.
