My Last Chemo!

Today I went in for my last chemo treatment. I hadn't been sure earlier about whether I'd do it, but I ended up getting some extra energy and a mental boost and I decided I could push through. I still have my 5-FU drip until Sunday, but after that I am ALL DONE with the chemo! Thought I'd share my good news. :-)

Hi,
Oh boy, happy day!! I remember when it came time for my last chemo, the dr. said "you have one more that we missed (due to the fact that I went in the hospital for a blockage and missed one)do you want to come back and get it?" I said absolutely not cuz I was so happy to stop. Anyway, I know how happy you feel. I was so thrilled to finally be over with that. Good luck and stay well. Peace, Annette0 -
WHOO HOO JEN!
Like others doing the happy dance and no not naked. LOL. Celebrate. I can't wait to get there and be able to drink and eat cold stuff without the ouchies.

This is so great. You won't believe how good you will feel after a few weeks. When I finished (at least for now) mine in early December, I thought I was doing pretty well. But 2 months later I remember telling my oncologist that I didn't quite realize how badly I had felt, but clearly I did since I felt SO much better off it.
So a great accomplishment. Do that old "happy dance" and be proud of getting all the way through it.
