Another Angel in Heaven

First let me say THANK YOU to all of the many folks in this group that has been support for me during the past 2 1/2 years. This is the first place I turned and found mountains of love during our fight. As some of you will remember I was a caregiver for my husband who had stage iv colon cancer. Ken lost his battle with the monster on Saturday May 27. \
I sit here and write to my friends on the morning of his funeral. It gives me strength and comfort from a place that shelters me and educates me and again I say Thank You.
I know Ken is in a much better place with no more pain. No more chemo and the awful side effects that he had. Just peace and love kinda like what I would find here each time I would come.
Thank you my dear friends. I will not abandon this place but I come with a different outlook. One of peace and love rather than fear.
God bless you all
Love

Hi pjenks, I am so saddened to hear your news. Ken is, as you say, at peace. As a caregiver, you did all you could to help him fight the fight and you both fought bravely. Please know my prayers are with you at this time.

PJ,
I'm glad his pain is over. You and I were talking about how hard it is to watch them suffer and I was worried about you this weekend. I guess I know why God put you in my heart so strong now!
He's in a better place watching over you and your family. Pain free!
God bless you and email me if you need ANYTHING.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. I hope you can take some comfort from the fact that he is no longer suffering. I will pray for your and your family. And, please keep coming back here. You caregivers have lots to offer us and hopefully we can also offer you support in return.
Take care,

May God Bless Ken's soul as he goes to paradise.
May you also be blessed for all care that you provided for him.
And you are right - Ken is in much better place with God now.
Please Take good care of yourself.
