survivor guilt

A male co-worker has been sick for about 4 mos. He went to see the surgeon that did my surgery, He found out today that he has inoperable pancreatic cancer that has already spread to the liver. He is 58 years old. Why? Why? Why?

Please say a prayer for Ed.

    Will surely keep Ed in my prayers. There is never an answer to the why.

    (no, sb, don't go painting yourself blue and yellow again....one visual is ENOUGH for a lifetime....hehehehehe)

    Prayers are going out for Ed. A friend of mine was just dxed with pancreatic cancer also. Prayers for Rosie, please. I hate this disease. Terri

    I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Please don't torment yourself with the "why" or "why him and not me" question. The answer is never in our hands. No matter what your belief system, the grand order of things is not in our control, and some questions have no answers.

    I'm constantly asking myself why? Why do some people suffer more than others in this life? I just don't understand, but Ed and Rosie are in my prayers.
