I'm running in the Beach to Bay Relay Race in Corpus Christi, TX this Saturday. I'm not exactly a runner, (actually not at all-swimming is my thing) but I got caught up in the momnet and thought what fun a weekend at the baech would be and hey, my leg ofthe race is only 4.0 miles, no sweat, what's 4 miles?, so I registered for the race with 5 other friends. I survived chemo, I can run (with a little walking when noone is looking)for 4.) miles. My leg of the race is dedicated to the semi-colons & CSN family!

Hi Suzannchili,
This is very cool. Good luck in the race. Do you get people to sponser you with a certain amount for each mile?

Thank you. There are no sponsors. The registration fees for the race are dibursed to local charities. Our team spent close to $200 in registartion fees. I hope the weather is not too hot.lfondots63 said:Hi Suzannchili,

Hey girl - Good luck this weekend - have fun, and thanks for the dedication! I have only recently started running, and 4 miles seems HUGE! I know you can do it - we can do anything we set our minds to, no? Godspeed!
xoxo,
Jackie

Have a great time... thanks for running/walking/crawling in our honor! Make sure to stretch after the race - it will be hard when you win to stay grounded.
I move just west of South Padre Is. next weekend... us Texans should set up a gathering when it cools off.
Have a great weekend. We will be cheering you on from our air conditioned sofas. jana0
