CT scan; Good News

Hi to all;
I am caught in that dilemma of wanting to share good news, but feeling unsure if the timing is right. Andrea's death has brought home the high price this struggle can bring. I hope that we all are able to have the strength to face each of our struggles and that news of good outcomes can bolster others.
I had my nearly 2 year post treatment CT scan come back NED. (Surgery in Dec 03, stage III, hemicolectomy, 6 months of chemo).
I had my scan the same day as Maureen (as in moesimo), and we met for lunch after. It was great to meet her, and hear that we each got good news. Judy

Hi Judy,
Any time is the right time for good news, and if they were with us still ,Andrea and Nettie would be amongst the first to offer congratulations(as I do). I have often thought about why I have survived when those who I thought were so much more deserving have passed. I come back to the same answer ,that is the way life is ,somethings just are , if I have no control over it ,then I will accept it. Stay well Judy ,live long and strong,Ron.0 -

How wonderful to get great results. Even though we are all sad due to Nettie's and Andrea's passing, good news is still appreciated - maybe even more appreciated.
I am so glad you are doing well. And glad you got to meet Maureen. I haven't yet had the opportunity to meet a fellow semi-colon, but know that it would be a great experience.
So, congrats, and thanks for good new on an otherwise down day.
Take care,

YEAH!!!!!!! I am so happy for you, Judy! We definitely need to hear the happy stories, even though there have been some let downs around here recently...
Take care my "steak-eating-Sharon-Obourne-meeting" friend! (To this day, I STILL laugh at that!)
