aromasin and hair loss

I have trouble answering a tread, but i also have noticed after being on aromasin for 3 mts that my eyelashes, and brows have thinned and my hair is not growing as fast as it did before

Hello, one question....were you menopausal before all this stuff (the e-ticket ride of cancer)? Loss of estrogen, a normal part of menopause, is also caused by aromatase inhibitors such as arimidex, aromasin, even tamoxifen. Guess what THAT causes? Hair thinning. Look at many older women....sigh.

I have been taking Arimidex for about 4 months. I started taking it about 2 months after finishing chemo. I had lost all of the hair on my body from Chemo. My hair is slowly growing back in. It seems to be of a normal thickness, but it does seem to grow very slowly. However, I had been post memapausal for years (but on HRT). Hopefully your loss of hair will reverse itself.
