Tapeworms Part II
Ever since my little discovery on chemo and tapeworms from the other day, I've developed quite the morbid curiosity on the subject For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, search for a previous thread titled "Chemo Humor".
So, here's more trivia on tapeworms, and with that, I lose my last bit of on-line credibility. I'm sure I'll be kicked off the board soon for being so far off the colon cancer topic.
But hey, we all need some things to be thankful for. I for one, am very happy to be NEW - No Evidence of Worms
I gotta warn you the following piece of reporting from the BBC is a bit graphic. So you probably want to get the nausea under control before checking this out: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/3236294.stm
SpongeBob - hope you will rethink about eating paper after this! LOL!
Cheers,
JADot

Hi Barb:tkd3g said:ok, that was just gross. I am not the least bit interested in reading your first post.
I'm sure it was filled with information and knowledge, but I'll pass.
Barb ( sometimes, not knowing IS better)
Just when you thought you got nausea under control, you got me Sorry! Actually my first post has to do with a chemo drug which used to be a cure for tapeworm in animals, which was not gross at all, thankfully. Then again, I can understand if you've had enough!

What a great, gross post! Believe it or not I am taking a veterinary parasitology course and it is really pretty disgusting, even for this dog lover! I know you are all wondering what is the matter with me - this is what I do for fun?
Some of the pics I have seen make colon cancer look good!

P.S. And, this is definitely a strange thread!0 -
Hi Kay:Kanort said:Oh my gosh!!! I can't wait to read the previous thread. I'm sorry that I have been absent for a bit. Maybe I just have an unusual worm in my abdominal aorta instead of a tear!!!
I love your NEW report!!
Hugs,
Kay
Hope you don't have a tear or a worm in your abdominal aorta! When and how do you find out for sure? Maybe I missed your post re: this.
Best of luck and hugs for you too!

Since I give a rip about what my on line credibility may be....haha.....I'll tell you that I have done parasite cleanses as part of my cancer healing protocol and it's a very real problem. I did not go to your website --I have seen plenty of worm photos and what comes out of people--and my own!! and my daughter's since she was nursing at the time and so got the herbs second hand--it was something to see!!!
There's one woman's theory that worms can cause cancer.
Levamisole is the sheep wormer that was used as a colon cancer treatment before leucovorin.
We laugh about that now don't we? Someday I hope all this chemo stuff goes by the wayside like leeches and bleeding. And we'll all think how barbaric!!
Well, a gal can dream can't she?

Yes indeed - I hope science turned up some better treatments with fewer side effects real soon.2bhealed said:Since I give a rip about what my on line credibility may be....haha.....I'll tell you that I have done parasite cleanses as part of my cancer healing protocol and it's a very real problem. Meanwhile I wish our government spends a little more on public health and prevention messages!

See what happens when you drink that "pure mountain springwater from Nepal"? You get a leech peeking out of your nose! At least when I'm drinking my mezcal, I know the worm in the bottom of the bottle is DEAD!
I say we should all drink more mezcal and less pure springwater - it appears to be much safer and more beneficial to our health. What say you?
Please pass the lime and salt... (actually this old sailor doesn't use "training wheels")
Bottoms up!

I am a veterinarian and am all too familiar with parasites!
I have also read some theories that all cancer is derived from GI parasites. Thus the colon cleansing (for toxins too), etc. I have come to be willing to do anything but i think this hydroprocedure would be deadly for my now short colon!

Some REALLY BAD NEWS???? Medical leeches are STILL BEING Used!!!! You can buy them online. They use them to get blood out of places it won't flow naturally....severed and replaced finger, toe, ear. Actually, (Although I would be grossed out) it can make the difference in losing the severed appendage.2bhealed said:Since I give a rip about what my on line credibility may be....haha.....I'll tell you that I have done parasite cleanses as part of my cancer healing protocol and it's a very real problem.
