Just wanted to let you know that after having my Pet scan done yesterday, I just received word the scan showed nothing, no cancer at all. I guess want to thank everyone for their hope getting me through the rough weekend. Thank you! Thank you!
I guess now I know that Ct scans can sometimes show things that aren't there.

    Congratulations on a clear scan!

I've read that CAT scans are 40% accurate in detecting cancer and PET scans are 90% accurate in detecting cancer. My experience bears that out as well.

    Shirleyann -

CONGRATS! Welcome to the bowling team! (long story, but it has to do with wearing a bowling shirt emblazoned with the name "Ned" on it)

    Celebrate!

Congrats on the best PET you could ever have (except maybe a kitty cat!)! We have enough to worry about in life without worrying ahead of time!

Congratulations Shirleyann. While you are joining the bowling team you might also like to know our NED room has luxurious leather upholstered chairs to recline in. Come sit with me and relax a spell Shirley.
