Good Scans!

Hi Everyone,
I haven't posted in a while. I've had a lot going on at home and have been really down.
Originally diagnosed March 2004 with rectal cancer, a large tumor, but no other involvement. I did 5-1/2 weeks of radiation and chemo(xeloda), then surgery resulting in a permanent colostomy and 6 more months of chemo(xeloda). Had a recurrence in October 2005 in my lung and have been on Folfox ever since. I am now completing my 9th session. A pet/ct scan last week shows no evidence of cancer anywhere in my body! Yeah! I will finish a total of 12 sessions of chemo and have more scans. If they show nothing then I'll go off chemo and continue to be monitered. I am very excited though a little leary as I never expected such good results.
I have also had my house up for sale and am about to accept an offer so I'll be packing up after 22 years of accumulated junk and finding a smaller place to live. Way too much change for me!
I hope everyone is doing ok and staying positive!
Take care,
Jamie
