Hi!!
I have experienced same side effects!! I also have some neuropathy in my feet and hands. All of thiese side effects will
go away. Don't worry. Are you also taking 5-fu? If you are, this the the culprit. I am also on cpt-11. I have very thick hair. It is
thinning like crazy, yet few people have noticed. I am going for my 4th treatment this Tuesday. Remember...these side effects
may be strange, but you are still alive and kickin'. I have told myself over and over...chemo is weird, yet we have to do it. Hang in there!!! Terri0 -

I also had 12 sessions of CPT and avastin. My hair thinned considerably, but that was it. I didn,t have any skin thing like you have. Best of luck with the rest of treatments. Is the regime working for you otherwise?
Best wishes
Margo
I will have my 4th treatment with CPT-11, 5-fu, and avastin. I also have the 5-fu pump for 46 hours. A CT scan will be done in May to see if things are working. My guess is that I will be on this for 12 rounds. Are things working for you all? I have a recurrence of my colon cancer. NED for 22 months. I have a couple of tumors in my pelvis. Nothing in my lungs or liver. My prayers and thoughts to all on this board. We are fighters and want to live!!! Terri0 -
Yes I am taking the 5-FU along with it. Only 3 more treatments and I thank God everyday. My hair is a little peach fuzz now. One barber came to cut my husband's hair cause he had to do rad/chemo for throat cancer and he is doing wonderful. Didn't lose a strand of hair. The barber told me that some women can't handle losing their hair. I said well I did and didn't shear a tear. After my husband cut it off, I looked in the mirror and rubbed my hair and said I look like Uncle Festus from the Addams Family only a shade darker. Ha! HA! May God continue to bless us.terril said:Hi!!

I think it is working for me more that the others did. The 1st time in 2003 when I started chemo, no side effects. One year later, I had the recurrence in the same spot but this time I had to have my left kidney removed from a blockage. This regime has me more tired than normal. I forget I have the pump on. Only 3 more times to have it on. Thanks for your best wishes.finner said:Hi

I had my 5th one yesterday and have the pump on 46 hours. I pray this one is 8 rounds. I have a lot of diarherra with this so I try to stay close to the bathroom. I have the very small nodules in my lungs. We are going to make it by the grace of God and I stand on his word. I have 7 grandkids that I want to see grow up.terril said:Hi Margo and 122456!
