Need Oncologist in NY

Hi-- my thoughts are prayers are with you, as my Mom was diagnosed in December 2005.
However, the burden of finding an oncologist should not rest solely on your shoulders. . . who diagnosed him? His PCP? They should have recommendations for you, and at least give you places/doctors/practices where you can START. My best advice to you at this point is to get started FAST on finding an oncologist. Go and meet with as many as you and your father can stand. . . you'll feel more in control of the situation. As soon as my Mom had settled on a doctor and started her treatment, we ALL felt loads better.
I'll be thinking of you and wishing you luck on this journey.0 -
