My father is 75,in Ohio, he was diagnosed in '02 with Non H. large B-cell.
because of his heart they were ony able o use 2 of the CHOP meds. He went n to remission after 6 months, it last 5 months, he then stared treatment again and after 5 months again it was under control again for only 5 months, no follow up was done because the oncologit was retiring and dropped the ball. It is now back and appears to be bad, there is also a radiolucency in his hip. New Dr. is going to start a 5 hour treatment of topotekan and taxal Monday then 3 one hour sessions.
I am having a hard time finding any testamonials about these meds, how they worked, side effect, etc. He starts in 2 days we are all very affraid and need info
thanks

    Hello,

You may want to contact the American Cancer Society's National Cancer Information Center for treatment information. They can be reached at 1-800-224-2345 or by clicking on the "Contact ACS" link at the top of this page.

I wish your father well on his treatment.

    Take care and be well,
