Mom's Upper Lobectomy

Hi - My Mom had surgery on 12/15....and is now home recovering...her biopsy consisted of the doc's taking a piece of her rib 2 weeks prior to her surgery. She is experiencing a "pinching/burning" sensation where she was cut....is this part of the healing process?

Completely normal due to disruption of nerves, may feel "itchy"

I agree, - itching is normal, and expect skin to be very sensitive to touch. It does go away.
