Wow,
Its been a while since Ive been on here, and didnt ever think that this would happen, but im 4 years out, had ER/PR/Her2Neu+ with one node positive. Had single mast, 4 rounds AC and 5.5 wks radiation. I did tamoxifen only for 3.5 yrs and now im pregnant! whoever thought it would ever happen post chemo and post BC!~!!!! I just had to get on here and share the good news.... Whoever said it couldnt happen was full of it!

Thanks I know, the research is scant and so I had to do a lot of invesitaging for myself, figuring out whats there, including going to the Young Survivors Coalitions 5th conference for young women affected by breast cancer last year (going again this year it was so good!) and realizing that there is no conclusive evidence that a pregnancy will bring the cancer back or even increase the risk of bringing the cancer back. however there is also no conclusive evidence that it wont cause a reoccurrence either. We took our chances cos I am tired of living scared of the possible... and here we are! and i have to say...god it feels good just to knwo that pregnancy is possible. I know that being able to carry to term is a whole seperate issue, and we can only hope that we are successful there too....but at least I am living looking forwards now instead of backwards at the unknown dreaded possibles. thanks for your support!!!tlmac said:What wonderful news! Congratulations. I'm just thinking of the young women who have posted recently looking for hope that they will ever be able to have children. You've just given it to them. Merry Christmas!
