I have finished my Chemotherapy about 5 weeks and I am looking forward to getting my hair back... but it seems like it is being really slow. How long did it take for you to get your hair back... even a little bit. I had A/C and Taxol & herceptin treatments. Lost all my hair except for my eyebrows.... Didn't know how unusual loosing my hair would make me feel. Now that I have my energy back... I just can't wait for my hair. But I was blessed... Did really well during treatment. Thanks for any information you can give me.

Wow, lucky you. I lost my eyebrows and eyelashes. I did the same chemo except I'm on Herceptin now without the others. My hair started growing back on my arms first and then the head. I think it was about 2-3 months before I noticed a real change. Hang in there, it will come!0

I finished chemo back in September, I think...lol and I have a lot of hair growth. It was amazing to me, I was on Taxol 4 rounds every 2 weeks, my eyebrows and lashes never came out. I noticed a little thinning on my brows, but that was it. Then I noticed that when my hair was growing back my lashes and brows really thinned out. Didn't make sense to me, but hey who am I to try and figure it out!! LOL. I do have enough hair now to actually pull on. My brows are completely grown back and my lashes to me need to grow just a little more.
I know that it's a slow process. I scrub my scalp everytime I shower and before my hair started to come in really good, I scratched my head just to try and keep the pores clear. I do hope that yours comes in quickly. Take care!!

It will come, we promise! I lost my hair 5 years ago when I had 4 round of A/C and 4 of Taxol, that time it took about 3-4 months for a full head of hair (ps I lost all my hair, lashes, brows, etc.). Then had bc again a year ago October, finished chemo in March 5 rounds of cytoxcin and taxotere. My hair is about and inch long, but VERY thin.. going to a dermatologist now, they hope it will get fuller but... hey bald is beautiful!0
