Hi there. Wow what a story. What was the size of your primary lung tumor before it went to the brain? Was that resected or is it still in the lung?stage4survivor said:11/30/1999: NSCLC to brain;

The 1cm LUL primary was found on work-up after discovery of brain mass. Had a focal seizure on 10/30/1999 and went for MRI later that day. Was stage4 from day one, lung to brain.crot1998 said:Hi there. Wow what a story. What was the size of your primary lung tumor before it went to the brain? Neurosurgeon, Thoracic surgeon and Onco said: We'll classify you as stage4b, resect the tumors, little chemo and cure you!
My reply? Do you think this brain tumor made me STOOPID, too? I'm a dead man!
Bottomline: God doesn't want me, yet0 -

Glad to hear your doing good. I'm hoping maybe you can help me. My dad was just diagnosed with state 4 cancer (lung cancer that mestasized to the femur bone). He has a weak heart and we held off on the operation because the anesthestia put my father at a great risk of losing him during the surgery. Any suggestions or info. that you have?0 -

I'll be happy to, if possible but, need more details. Your location, under care of cancer center, which one, etc?
Lot of bad info out there, ESPECIALLY, high profile centers but, I won't mention them here.0 -
