Breast Reduction Surgery after BC

My cancer hasn't metastasized so I can't speak to your experience, but we know plenty of folks on this site whose cancer has returned and they have been around a LONG time, so it seems to me that you need to keep doing what you need to do to take care of yourself. If your breasts are uncomfortable and getting in the way of your life, I'd say you should have them reduced. I doubt the insurance will pay for it, so you have to be able to afford it, but if you can, why not? I had a bilateral mastectomy and tram flap reconstruction almost 3 years ago. I'm sure the surgery isn't as difficult as that, and I was back to work (part time) in a few weeks. Of course, you'd want your oncologist's thoughts on this surgery. But, as a woman, I'd say go for it! You're in my prayers. Sandi0
