NEUROENDOCRINE ISLET CELL NON FUNCTIONING TUMORS

My Husband was diagnosed Nov. 04, neuroendocrine tumors (islet cell) Started in pancreas, and had spread to liver. He has had chemo (adriamyocin, I think thats how it is spelled) every 8 weeks since Jan 05. They are treating the liver first and say surgery is a possibility in the future. He is treated at UPMC Presbyterian in Pgh. Sometimes the scans have shown that the tumors are shrinking and sometimes stable, which they say is still good because they are not growing.
