Stomach Aches

Hi slyng;
When I was on chemo, my whole digestive system was a mess, but they put me on protonix and that really seemed to help. I guess it depends on what kind of stomach aches you are having. Maybe you should mention this to your oncologist. I'm sure they would have several suggestions for you to try.
One thing about stomach aches is stay away from the dairy products when it occurs.
My own stomach problems turned out to be one very bad gall bladder. I hope all of it works out for you!!

Thanks for your reply. Did you have stomach problems the whole time? I just my 3rd treatment today, and for the first two, my stomach aches were Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday after my Friday treatment. I talked with my doctor today and he didn't seem to know why it would be those days. He gave me an anti spasm drug (can't remember the name because I haven't picked it up yet) so I'll try that, but will definately ask about the drug you mentioned. How long have you been done with chemo? How did you do, and how are you doing? If I didn't have the stomach problem, I'd be doing pretty well. I shouldn't complain because it's only 3 really bad days of 14, but obviously don't want any really bad days. I have 2 little ones so I'm busy with them...Did you end up having treatment for your gall bladder too? Hope you are doing well!angelpie7me said:Hi slyng;
