Hi Tracey, welcome to the site! Your story is going to inspire all of us here, I am sure, especaiily as you are a Stage 1V survivor of two years. Tell us about yourself. We are here to help each other and there are several of our members going through rough times right now.

Welcome, Tracey.
I am also stage four, but my last scans were clean (I had my colon removed in May and there were five liver mets at the time that did not show up on my last CT/PET scans). This forum has really helped me along the way, getting and giving support, and finding information. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I have.

tkd3g? Well tkd stands for the martial art Tae Kwon Do. Of which I participated in for over 3 years AND was getting ready to test for black belt. 3 weeks before my test, I was diagnosed with this lovely disease. And all these great treatments and drugs have kept me alive, but my body aches now like a 100 year old woman. I have tried going back, but right now, I can't do it. Once, probably the most powerful kicker in the school ( woman wise ), now, my feet hurt when I kick a padded shield ever so slightly.
The 3g is in honor of my 3 girls who ground me and make me smile every day of my life.
Barb ( tkd3g ) Someday, I may just get that black belt. So watch out, I may have to kick some cancer ****!!!!0 -
