DAD IS NED!

Well after having a little scare this past week with my dad's scans, it has turned out the little "spot" on his lung is truly nothing. In fact, the radiology report didn't even mention anything about it. My dearest dad is now 8 months post chemo and almost 1 1/2 years post surgery for stage 3 colon ca, and thankfully and God granted, so far so good.
I thought that with time these scans would get a bit easier but no such luck. I can't believe how absolutely sick i get when testing time comes around.
Anyway, thanks again for all who prayed for him and I will continue to keep all my good friends here in my prayers also.

So HAPPY to hear that!!! Spots will tend to appear from time to time. Thank God it was NOTHING! My mom has her MRI today at 2:45, I'm hoping for the same results!

Susana,
First of all, I cannot believe how the time has flown! I cannot believe it's been 1 1/2 yrs since your dad's surgery! I am so happy for you and your family. How relieved you all must feel. Also, thank you for realizing the importance of sharing your good news. Everyone needs a little boost every now and then, and this is just the trick!
May you all have many happy years to come!
