Dear Pelona, my first bc was diagnosed 2/03. Went thru lumpectomy, chemo and rad. Put it completely out of my mind until second diagnosis 7/04. Am going thru rad and chemo again. I just had a ct scan and the mets are smaller. Losing my hair a second time isn't nearly as traumatic as the first time; it just means I'm going thru treatment again. I have met several women who have had multiple bouts of cancer and are still here. You can get a second opinion of treatment if you like. Don't give up; as long as there is life, there is hope.0

hi Hilda. My name is Liz. I was looking through here and couldn,t help wondering if you are the same Hilda that I walked with in the Relay for Life when we were both bald? That was a fond memory for me and you were such a blessing to me that day. I am sorry to hear that you are having a recurrence, however with your strong sweet spirit, faith in God, and perserverence I know you will kick it out Once Again. love, liz
p.s. i still have those race pictures on my computer0 -
