prayers needed

Hi all, been a while - sorry. brief history - hubby dx feb 04 stage 4 cc. all tumors surgically removed last year, but he now has a bowel obstruction and is going in for exploratory surg. tomorrow (Mon) afternoon. Please keep us in your prayers and any info /advice about adhesions (they suspect this or tumors) would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Sally,

    I am sorry to hear about your husband's recent struggles. I had two episodes of bowel obstruction caused by adhesions. Both times required hospitalization along with a NG tube. My surgeon told me if it happened again, I, too, would have to have surgery. It's been a year and a half without an episode. This is not to say that my system is without flaw, I just try and manage it more carefully. Please know we are thinking of you both.
