mouthin' off again
The upshot of it all is that I will have it pulled...and a little cavity work on tha other teeth left..yuk! Then to avoid looking like the toothless "poor yorick" I have to have a plate made so I can smile again without fear of looking like a toothless biker....lol!
Aw....just thought I would vent my misery.....I hate going to the dentist...@^#&%%%%&#@!!!
Surgery, chemo and the associated ulcers, loose teeth, etc has taken a bad toll on my toothypegs.....beware those on chemo!
I feel better now that I have got that off my chest.....lol! Oh yeah!...its gunna set me wallet back to the tune of $1100.00 AUS.!Shudda tha thought!(did you know I could buy 5 motorbike tyres for Jen's bike at that price)
Ok...yu can all have a chuckle at my expense now...he! he!
All those that send their sympathies will get a hugg, kanga.

Ross,
You know you have my sympathy (now I'm ready for that hug)!! We are on the same wave length....I go for my crown this afternoon - ouch!
Yes, the chemo can wreak havoc on our poor ole teeth. This is the second crown I have had to have since I began treatment.
Good luck with the dentist...that is not my favorite either. Then you can send me a photo of your new pearly whites and a great big smile!
Hang in there.
Love to you and Jen.

Hi darling,
I lost one of my lover front teeth several years ago (after using my teeth as a pair of pliers many years earlier). I had the plate done too and compared with crowns on back teeth, it was a walk in the park. No pain at all that I remember. That was 7 years ago and I've had no problems with it since. The best of luck to you and send me a photo too!!!!!!
SMILE BABY!!!!!

That just plain stinks! The only solace I can offer is, when you are in the dentist's chair, remember what you made it through and feel excellent that you are in the chair just like the rest of the grit 'eatin' world!!!
Here's a hug for you and one for Jen who is getting gyped out of a bunch of tires .

Chemo buggered up my smile. Big time! First on the agenda was a double tooth-pull. An impacted wisdom tooth was growing in crooked, the others having been removed years ago. It was pressing on the crown next to it. A crown! $$$$$ Both had to come out before the rest of the work could proceed.
The upside? Versed, fentanol, nitrous (laughing gas)and a scrip for demerol.
