Procrid why/ good/bad input

Do you mean Procrit? I was given 2 shots during my treatment. But as I understand it, for it to really work you need to have about 8 shots, one a week or month or something like that. My docs didn't seem to think it was all that important. Add to the fact that at the time I received it 3 years ago it was around $700 a shot, so the ins co. didn't like it I am sure. AS I was doing neupogen shots daily to raise my white cells and later on had to get insulin shots 4 X's a day, I wasn't terribly interested in another shot. But I have met people in the hospital for whom they really worked. If your insurance will pay for it why not try it?
