with the results.....
Well thanks to everyone I spoke to the other night. Chen is the only name I can remember right now. But looks like you will be seeing me around here.
I have breast cancer. So looks like I'm a new member of another club nobody wants to join... LOL!

I wasnt in the chat the other night, but I understand you have just been diagnosed. I know this is a rough time, I am nearly 4 years out and remember how scary the first part of everything was all too well. If nothing else, just the anticipation of the unknown was hard. Just know that the support is here, many of us have been where you are now, and somehow, someway, you manage to find strength within you that you never knew existed to fight this. You can beat it and make it through. Dont hesitate to yell if you need anything ( a yell, scream, attitude adjustment or even just a listening ear) You are not alone
Take Care

I too am sorry for your diagnosis but since I am an 8 year survivor of stage 3 breast cancer with 11 out of 21 positive nodes and having a 50/50 chance for survival, it has all been worth it.
I think sometimes resigning ourselves to it and working hard on getting through it, is the best that we can do. I came to terms with what I had been doing wasn't working or the big C wouldn't haven't reared its ugly head. I have made many changes in my life and continue to grow and evolve making something better of the life I have to live.
It doesn't have to be a death sentence it can actually be a rebirth in many senses.
Be good to yourself always,
Tara0
