pattieb
Has anyone heard from pattieb recently? My friends list shows she hasn't been on since November. Naturally, I'm a little concerned.

07:21 PM EST PattieB
I just wanted to let anyone who was fond of PattieB on the discussion boards and on chat that she passed away today around 1pm EST. She was given dilotid towards the end so she went calmly and peacefully. Her daughter was with her. She will be greatly missed.0 -

No-one here could be expected to remember, reply, post, OR be condemned, critisised for not knowing that one of our own has passed. I am sure that there are many who post here that I may not have even replied to or welcomed. We ave so many that come and stay. Many that choose to be known or some that choose to remain in the background. Everyone in their own way contributes even if only on occassions.
The very fact that you posted...thinking of Pattie....is the most thoughtfull thing ...you are NOT a moron!
I would bet that there are friends here who know little bout kanga...that is not a detrimental thing. It just means that their time, energies or circumstance only permit them to post answers to questions relevant to their own cancers. It does not necssarily mean those people ignore me. Hell, there are many on this board I have never probably replied to.
Stacy...you are an angel, an inspiration and one who we are proud to call a friend (in my case..a sister)...certainly never a moron....certainly never someone we think should know everything that happens here.
Ok...metinks I have said enough.
luv, Ross n Jen

You guys made my day. I've been SO swamped with everything lately, that I feel like I haven't posted as often as I used to. You are all SO inspirational, brave and caring. Three wonderful characteristics that are a good foundation for good friends. Everyone here has gone above and beyond to make our "virtual family" feel closer than our physical families. I think our "club" had a hell of an initiation ceremony to join, but well worth it!kangatoo said:STACY!!!! Don't beat yourself over tha head darlin'!
